At times even I'm speechless.
We may disagree.
However few of us can argue
that the never ending swirl of mixed messages
assaulting us on a daily basis
OVERWHELMS.
As responsible human beings
we've no choice
but to sift through the debris
and come to our own conclusions.
Thus for today,
the only thing I can do share are my trigger points.
The words that come to mind as I search for answers.
Along with my description
of what each word means to me
within this convoluted time and place.
LUDICROUS
That's the only word I can think of
to describe our current political dilemma.
SHOCKING
Is all one can say about hyperbole
being slung against the wall of public opinion.
SHAMEFUL
Often our reaction to lies and innuendo is based on anything but the truth.
CRIMINAL
Has to be our definition of any prejudicial act against any minority.
IDIOTIC
Describes anybody willing to make
a life changing decision based on rumors alone.
INDULGENT
Are those who prefer ignore the facts
and NOT make an educated decision
RECKLESS
Is opting out and allowing others to make the decision for us.
REVOLUTIONARY
Can simply mean sharing one's opinions
beyond their everyday sphere of influence.
EVOLUTIONARY
Are the human beings who make a few mistakes
along the way and learn from them.
SEXY
Is being comfortable in one's own skin... and loving it.
SMART
Defines all who are willing to challenge, question, discuss, adapt, and evolve.
AWESOME
Are those who leverage the power
of the collective whole for the betterment of all.
POWERFUL
Is defined by leaders who persevere against all odds.
