many boomers did not grow up modern.
Much of the mid century madness
was decorating in a style called
"EARLY AMERICAN"
Hence many knew nothing of Eames or Parzinger.
Rather we lived in a sea of
eagles, knotty pine, and chintz.
Given this long weekend is a celebration of things historical,
